For example, "BIAS" could have warned potential investors in Pi2 of risks from other companies chasing the psoriasis market. When venture capitalists and "angels" are considering an investment in a Biotechnology start-up they should obtain independent advice on the technology proposed by the company and the possibility that their strategy is flawed. "BIAS" is able to provide advice for a wide range of Biotechnology projects and where it has not the expertise it will provide a link to another consultant.
"BIAS" will review laboratory notebooks containing key intellectual property and patents. However, it will not provide opinions on the validity of patents as judging patents in Biotechnology is very complex and requires a patent attorney with appropriate  experience.

"BIAS" can assist with the drafting of grant applications to State and Commonwealth government agencies and to various foundations. "BIAS" is more interested in giving technical advice and is not interested in competing with other consultants who will manage the preparation of business plans that are required by several agencies as part of the grant application.

"BIAS" is able to give advice on the structure of the program and strategies to effectively market conferences involving Biotechnology. The CEO has played a leading role in organising several successful national and international Biotechnology conferences. "BIAS" is not competing with established conference organisers but is able to provide them with unbiased advice on speakers, likely participants, and strategies to get maximum support from the general public.
